Welcome to my corner of the creative world! I'm Liam Kilsby-Steele, a photographer, videographer, art director, and adventure enthusiast with a deep passion for storytelling. My journey has been anything but conventional — Starting from my early days in Scouting and a love for the great outdoors paired with building businesses that merge creativity with adventure, I’m all about crafting visuals that resonate with people in the heart of nature up mountains or in your backyard with your family and friends. So, grab a cuppa, and let me take you through the story that’s shaped who I am today.

My Journey

  • 1997 - 2013: I was born with creativity running through my veins and a natural curiosity for the world around me. Growing up, I spent more time outside than inside, falling in love with the spirit of adventure through Scouting and exploring the wilderness.

  • 2013: At age 16, I launched LKS Active, my first business. Focused on coaching others while staying active and connected to the outdoors was the perfect blend of my passions.

  • 2015: As LKS Active grew, I expanded into designing and selling hockey sticks. It was the perfect addition to my coaching—because what’s better than teaching someone how to play hockey? Selling them the tools to do it right, of course!

  • 2019: After completing a BSc in Sports Coaching, I quickly realised that the corporate world wasn’t my path. My heart was set on something more creative that let me keep the spirit of adventure alive. So, I turned to photography and videography, where every project is a new story waiting to be told.

  • 2020: I jumped headfirst into the creative industry, focusing on capturing the essence of the outdoors and rural life. Partnering with Berkshire Botanicals Gin and Samuel Gelston Whiskey, I have been able to document the rich history and craftsmanship behind the drinks and spirits that fuel great stories.

    Projects started getting hot, and I officially launched LKS Focus, my videography and photography business. This venture allowed me to combine all my loves—creativity, adventure, and the great outdoors—into a career that genuinely feels like a calling.

  • 2021: I co-founded Imminent Meta Ltd, a company centred on augmented reality clothing. While the tech world was exciting, my true passion remained with visual storytelling.

  • 2022: LKS Focus took off, and I began working on projects aligned with my commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship. After all, the landscapes I love to capture are worth protecting.

  • 2024: The journey continues with more significant projects and a deeper focus on making an impact.

As LKS Focus grows, so does my dedication to telling stories that matter and contributing to a more colourful world.

These days, you’ll find me chasing new heights—literally. When I’m not behind the camera, I’m likely scaling a cliff, hitting the open road in my van, or diving into a new sport. I’m all about living life to the fullest and bringing that same energy into my creative projects. Adventure isn’t just what I do; it’s who I am.
